National Science Foundation
Integrative Graduate Education Research and Training (IGERT)
Fellowships in Optical Communications and Networking

Qualified Candidates are invited to apply for the prestigious National Science Foundation Integrative Graduate Education Research and Training fellowships available starting Fall 2002.

Prospective candidates must:

  1. Be US citizens or permanent residents.
  2. Have a BS or MS degree in an appropriate field.
  3. Be committed to pursue a Ph.D. degree in optical communications and networking.

The fellowships include full tuition, a yearly stipend of up to $25,000 through the Ph.D. program, and a yearly travel allowance for attending conferences.
