Optics Option
In addition to the MS and the Ph.D. degree program in optics, UCF offers MS and Ph.D. graduate option programs in optical physics (Department of Physics), and in electro-optics (Electrical Engineering & Computer Science). These options programs are offered in partnership between the academic departments and CREOL, The College of Optics & Photonics. Students are supervised by the faculty of CREOL, The College of Optics & Photonics and carry out their research at the College research laboratories. The faculty also supervise students pursuing graduate education in materials science and engineering (Department of Mechanical Material & Aerospace Engineering) and in the Department of Chemistry.
