Jin Yan from Dr. Shin Tson Wu's LCD research group wins IEEE/IPS Graduate Student Fellowship

Ms Jin YanMs. Jin Yan is the fourth person from Dr. Shin Tson Wu's LCD research group to win the prestigious IEEE/Photonics Society Graduate Student Fellowship. The other three winners were Linghui Rao (2011), Meizi Jiao (2009) and Zhibing Ge (2006). The IEEE Photonics Society established the Graduate Student Fellowship Program to provide Graduate Fellowships to honor outstanding Photonics Society student members pursuing graduate education within the Photonics Society field of interest. Applicants are normally in their penultimate year of study and receive the award for their final year.
