Graduate student Zahoora Sanjabi is Corning Outstanding Student Paper Competition grand prize winner

Graduate student Zahoora Sanjabi, of Dr. Rodrigo Amezcua Correa's Microstructured Fibers and Devices research group, is the Corning Outstanding Student Paper Competition grand prize winner.

The OSA Foundation partners with OSA Industry Development Associates to offer programs, prizes and recognition in the field. This program, established in 2007, recognizes innovation, research excellence, and presentation abilities in optical communications. The competition is endowed by a grant from Corning Incorporated. To be eligible for consideration students must submit a paper to OFC.
