Applicote Associates, LLC is a materials and process technology development company. Our technologies enable production of the next generation of semiconductor chips (nano) which lead to lower cost circuits.

Our suite of patented and proprietary materials processing technologies improve yields compared to conventional technologies. We are developing materials processing for the sub 22-nanometer range. Our nanotechnology processing capabilities allows our licensees to stay well ahead of the next process node for advanced semiconductors.

PICO Technologies

PICO Technologies, a Lakeland, FL based company, provides cutting edge technology for military aircraft.  The company, now supported by the UCF Photonics Incubator, will begin commercialization efforts of their novel LED-based backlighting as well as pursue other opportunities with UCF faculty and Central Florida resources to further explore applications for this technology. Business executives Hank Johannson, CEO, and Joe Ryan, CFO, bring over 70 combined years in defense sector engineering and management expertise. Drs Winston Schoenfeld of CREOL and Huiyang Zhou of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department round out the team's talents in technical design.
