Otto Lehmann Award

The goal of the competition is to award a prize to young scientists for an outstanding thesis, i.e. diploma or master thesis, doctoral or inaugural dissertation (Habilitation), in the field of liquid crystal technology.

Otto Lehmann co-discovered liquid crystal phase with Frederic Renitizer in 1888. This year, LCD business will exceed $100B.
