Biography

Aravinda Kar received his PhD degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a Professor of Optics, MAE (Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering) and MSE (Materials Science and Engineering) at UCF. His research interest is Laser Advanced Materials Processing such as (1) Materials processing, synthesis and modeling, (2) Device structure fabrication and prototyping, (3) Laser-assisted manufacturing and micromachining and (4) Advanced manufacturing thermal science (Thermofluids analysis of manufacturing technology.
