Biography
Dr. Moharam's current research activities include diffractive and holographic optics, rigorous analysis and design techniques for diffractive elements, hybrid diffractive/holographic optical elements in photo-thermo-refractive glasses, sub-wavelength grating structure and their applications as artificial media, photorefractive devices, diffraction of optical radiation by volume and surface-relief grating structures. Dr. Moharam is a Fellow of the Optical Society of America.
