Industrial Advisory Board

The Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) provides the FPCE with advice on commercialization and industry matters as well as providing technical advice. The IAB provides guidance on program and partnership project goals, interactions with industry, and intellectual property. Specifically, the IAB provides recommendations on selection and funding of the competitive Partnership Projects awarded by the FPCE. The IAB obtains its information from company management, personal observation, and from Partnership Project reports prepared by the researchers and educators in collaboration with their industry partners. The continuing cooperation and collaboration of the University of Central Florida Technology Incubator (UCFTI) and the UCF Venture Lab facilitates the incubation of new businesses and the smooth transfer of technology from research to industry.
