The Optical Fiber Communications Laboratory has an opening for a postdoctoral research associate to conduct research in
one of the following areas:
- DSP-enabled coherent optical communication
- All-optical signal processing and regeneration
- Analog fiber-optic links
Although familiarity with the theory of and experimental skills in optical communication is desirable, it is not a requirement.
Candidates with creativity and strong background in electrical engineering (EM & Linear System, information theory and wireless
communications) and physics (nonlinear optics) are strongly encouraged to apply.
The position will be awarded initially for a period of one year with the possibility of renewal. Candidates should send
