Investigator\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"team-description\">\nProfessor Arkadiy Lyakh earned his B.S. and M.S. in Applied Physics and Mathematics at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. He went on to earn a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering at the University of Florida. He went on to become the Director of High Performance Quantum Cascade Lasers at Pranalytica from 2007 to 2015. He received his B.S. in physics in 1992 from Nanjing University, Nanjing, China, and received his PhD in Physics in 2003 from CREOL (Center for Research and Education in Optics and Lasers) of the University of Central Florida. After obtaining his PhD, he has been conducting research in university, doing research and development in industry, and teaching. His work has been focused on optics and photonics.
